Welcome to ChickenScratch: The Catholic Connection.(161/62/99). This is the home of all things “catholic” or “universal”. This page and the resulting blogs are probably my most personal and most controversial. Why so? The creation of this page and all further posts honors my commitment to the  holy orders as described by my spiritual name : Kimberly Anne. (57/27/30) “Feed My Sheep.” (57/27/30). My love of God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit and the Catholic saints are honored within these pages.

Perhaps that is not so controversial, but adding that I am a “spiritual intuitive” (92/57/35) certainly does. Definitely it is a paradox as the church does not believe in all things spiritual. Yet, I found that when I was out in the “ministry” so to speak as a reader, the majority of my clientele (85-90%) asking for guidance were former Catholics- those who were raised and baptized as Catholics but now were no longer practicing for one reason or another.

What I found so interesting was that though they were not practicing, God certainly was. For each of these clients, Mother Mary. the saints or the angels were actively there wishing to offer them messages of hope and encouraging them to return to their devotional practices. Most often the messages centered around “remembering” their roots and helping them to know that God had not left them and that they were His sheep. Being Catholic certainly had very special advantages – as once baptized and confirmed you were given certain protections and dispensations from God through the assistive hands of Mother Mary and the saints.

The common thread with most of the clients I read for was that they were seeking illumination. For each one, though they may still have remembered their roots, they were turned off by the” dogma” and rote practices of the church. Or, their beliefs in spirituality conflicted with the position of the Catholic church. God, the saints, the angels and Jesus are not about dogma. They are spiritual in nature and only wish for your to know yourself and see the value of the teachings of Christ through the church as a “spiritual instruction guide” (126/66/60)  and how the commandments and prayers and especially the Rosary, are ways to cleanse your spirit and keep your “holy temple” (50/23/27) in which Jesus resides, a haven for peace.  (For those with an astrological interest, I find it more than coincidence that the words – holy temple – numeric value of 50 – match with ‘North Node” (50/17/33) – the astrological position of your destiny. Hmm. Since there are no such thing as coincidences in the spiritual world – I vote for the hand of God in the design of our most wonderfully made universe. (Number 17 is the numeric value of the word “God” while 33 has the numeric value of “teacher”.)

This blog in no way dishonors those who continue to believe in the “dogma” (22/7/15) of the church, but to bring that understanding to the spiritual level it deserves leading you to honor your spiritual purpose as exposed through the study of astronomy (41/20/21) Kabbalah (20/3/17)- a very unique, mystical aspect of Judaism that Madonna has popularized, and meditative practices as embraced by Buddhism (35/12/23). Quite an interesting triad of religious practice – bringing Jews, Catholics and Buddhists together as a one, and abiding “catholic” (35/16/19) or “universal faith” (66/28/38).

P.S. The “spiritual instruction guide” (126) is the “University/school teacher” of “living waters”(60), a ”Gift from God”  who is of “universal faith”(66)
