Anchored In Astronomy

What is ChickenScratch: Anchored in Astronomy?(158/56/102) Is it an homage to the wonder of the universe ala Stephen Hawking? Or perhaps a shout out to fans of UFO’s or the Star Trek society? Perhaps it is an educational tour of the galaxy?

Uhhh, No! (No offense to fans of Hawking, UFO’s or my beloved Star Trek franchise – of which I wait with baited breath for the next Star Trek movie headed by JJ Abrams and Damon Lindeloff.)

Sabian Symbol: (158) A girl takes her first dancing lessons.

What Anchored in Astronomy offers is an instructive device which allows for a more personal connection to the stars. “It is a vehicle for your transcendence.” (158/76/82) You don’t need a ph.d or even a masters degree in astronomy to read and enjoy this blog. In fact, to some, it might feel a bit like astrology.  By using a very innovative new construction for “understanding” the movement of the stars, planets and asteroids as they tour the constellations and houses, I hope to bring a deeper respect for the cosmos which reveals  ”astronomy as a blueprint for your life” (158/75/85) Note that I said blueprint. A blueprint is a guideline – not a fated travel roster for your existence. I would liken this blue print of the stars to the Tree of Life or structure of the Sephirot that has been around for centuries as used by Kabbalists. Forewarned is forearmed, and with this blueprint, “the power of opportunity is yours.” (158/78/80)

This blog offers up current events and pits them against the movement of the stars and sheds interesting new light on the interaction of these planetary bodies as they orbit the sun. I’m also offering a section entitled – “and the Academy would like to thank”… where some of my favorite astrologers and metaphysicians can be given credit, where credit is due.

I hope you enjoy the posts. Comments are encouraged.
