Weekly Oracle 5/21-5/27/12 : Keep Your Eyes on the Prize
Weekly Oracle: 5/21 – 5/27/2012. This week I return to the Journey of the Maiden cards for our inspiration. The Cards are : FOCUS * BALANCE * PLAY
KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE! This week you are reminded to keep putting in the work needed to clear your energy and move forward on your path. Though some may have tunnel vision, and be unable to see the light, your hard work is paying off.
FOCUS on your goals and what you are trying to accomplish and you will reach your destination! Have you made a list of things you need to do, and the resources and support structures you need to have in place to be successful? Have you set reasonable timelines for these items to be completed? This is all part of focus.
Focus also requires you to reach a state of BALANCE in your life. Science calls that maintaining homeostasis, where one can literally “stand equally” on both feet and achieve stability. Homeostasis is not just about achieving internal or external harmony in our physical lives, it is about psychological balance as well. In laymen’s terms, that means figuring out a way to put your mind at ease and embrace peaceful thoughts.
Remember, WE ARE WHAT WE EAT! Negative thinking and a diet of high in sugars and chemicals can easily push us off balance. (I just recently changed my diet and eliminated wheat, gluten, cow’s milk and processed foods. No surprise that I am losing weight!)
We cannot reach our goals if our mental and physical bodies and energies are out of sync! So how do we keep ourselves in relaxed motion forward? PLAY!
It’s time to GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK! Take a moment and reflect upon your life priorities. When you look at how you schedule yourself, have you penned in opportunities to play? Where do you give yourself time off for good behavior? Do you approach your work as an opportunity to play? (I know some times I forget.)
FUN IS THE MIND PLEASER! Our physical, mental and emotional bodies are far more responsive when we enjoy what we are doing! When we believe we are in PLAY mode, our minds stop trying to block our progress and we accomplish 10 times more than we ever would had we forced the issue. Emotionally, remember to speak a blessing over yourself like I posted last week. Write yourself a love note to remind you how much you approve of, and appreciate yourself.
So this week, it’s time to shift your thinking, if you have not already, to incorporate the element of play in your life, while still focusing on your goals. Keep your mind and body healthy and in sync by eating balanced foods and thinking positive thoughts. Before you know it, your miracle will have arrived and you will have enjoyed the journey in a state of play!
